Study strategies: Tuned In

Self-Paced Online Module

All of us have the 'brains' to pass our university courses, but sometimes anxiety and other emotions get in the way of doing our best. The Tuned In module introduces you to how to use music to help you regulate your study-related emotions. The module takes 15-20 minutes to complete. “Live” facilitated group courses

The Tuned In group program is an evidence based 4-session course that teaches you how to use music listening to help regulate anxiety, promote focus, and manage other common academic emotions. It features relatable scenarios and allows you to unlock the power of your favourite music to help with your studies.

Watch this video to hear UQ students talking about using music for their studies.

“I often recommend Tuned In to people because almost everyone I know likes to use music in different ways to monitor their emotions. But it's great to be given kind of a structure or be given the language to take that process and make it work for you.”
- UQ Student feedback.

Group courses will run once per semester, starting in April and in September. Once you register your interest a team member will contact you with further information.
