What is Sharper Minds?

Sharper Minds is a package of FREE resources designed for undergraduate / honours students at UQ that will support your physical and mental health so that you can achieve your best at university. The resources target 6 domains: study, mood, physical activity, healthy eating, sleep, and social connection. The package was co-designed by students and UQ academics who have expertise in these domains. We recommend that all undergraduate students complete the online surveys (one now and a second one at the end of semester) and use the weekly progress tracker, as well as check out the 6 short courses that will help you develop strategies in the 6 domains.

Evidence from the 2022 pilot trial (see Reports and Publications page) shows that students who completed a course and used the weekly progress tracker had better mental health and a boost in GPA at the end of semester compared to students who just completed the surveys.

The short courses will start on various times and days across the year, according to demand. (You could do one course per semester and collect the set!)
